Chateau Clerc Milon at the Naples Winter Wine Festival fundraiser
Château Clerc Milon was pleased to take part in the 18th edition of the Naples Winter Wine Festival which took place on 26 and 27 January in Florida.
The festival aims to finance charity programmes which support underprivileged children in Collier County, Florida. Today, it attracts many international donors, including prestigious names from the wine world such as Opus One, Antinori, Krug, and of course Clerc Milon, as well as other luxury brands including Bentley, Rolls Royce and Chopard.
With Julien de Beaumarchais de Rothschild attending the event, Château Clerc Milon offered an auction lot centred on the Clerc Milon Dance Prize called “In Bordeaux, it’s who you know”. The lot included:
– A visit to Château Clerc Milon including a private tour and tasting followed by a dinner
– A VIP tour of Bordeaux’s Grand Theatre, partner of the Clerc Milon Dance Prize
– An invitation to the 2018 Clerc Milon Dance Prize, which includes a performance by the Bordeaux National Opera Ballet followed by the award ceremony and a reception
– Six 6-litre bottles of Château Clerc Milon
Sold for 300,000 US dollars, the Château Clerc Milon lot was one of those to raise the most money.
With 630 participants, the auction raised over 15 million dollars for underprivileged children. Clerc Milon is proud to have been a part of such a wonderful initiative.
