Château Clerc Milon 1991

Château Clerc Milon 1991

Climatic conditions

A cold winter was followed by a mild spring which encouraged early growth of the vine.

A frost on 21 April caused considerable damage but Château Mouton Rothschild, Château d’Armailhac and Château Clerc Milon were spared thanks to their favourable situation.

The crop matured well in a fine, hot summer and the harvest began under excellent conditions.

Tasting notes

The wine has a lovely, glittering aspect, deeply coloured but shading slightly.

The nose reveals delicate spice and cedarwood aromas with touches of mint and dried flowers.

The attack is supple, with plenty of substance. The flavours on the palate recall the aromas of the nose, while the well-integrated tannins harmoniously complement the freshness of acidulated berry fruit.

A pleasant finish with lingering freshness. A great success in a tricky vintage.
